This is it. We all know the reasons why this project does not belong on Weddington Road.
We have been told there are acceptable and unacceptable reasons to be against the Weddington Road Rezone, but in the end all that matters is that we don’t want it.
Time to let your commissioners/council members know that they need to look at the facts and vote against this thing. Time to let them know if they don’t vote no their decisions well echo into their political futures.
Go on their Facebook pages and other public places and let them know we don’t want it, that there is no need for it, and it just doesn’t belong on Weddington Rd.
Go online to places where it can’t be deleted, places where it can be seen for years to come. Let them know the rest of Charlotte is watching and we all expect our elected officials to work for us, not against us. Don’t just send them emails that can be ignored, put your opinion and the facts in places where the world can see today, tomorrow and in the years to come.
I can tell you that this blog will post all public information on the names of any and all elected officials who vote for allowing this attack on our neighborhoods. We will ensure it stays in the public eye, especially during future elections.
